During my undergraduate career at FIU, I was an officer of Hillel on Campus, and officer of ShalomFIU, and was founder & president of Challah for Hunger, and a member of National Society of Collegiate Scholars. During my study abroad aboard Semeater at Sea, I was Co-president of the psychology club, founder & president of the Jewish students organization, and organizer of the hunger banquet.

As an officer in Hillel, I was able to create events that enhanced Jewish life on campus, as well as, allowed me to bring to Jewish culture to campus and expose other students, whom might not have known or understood it, to learn, particpate, and understand Jewish culture. Through Hillel, I created a multitude of events, in coordination with ShalomFIU (of which I was also an officer), that allowed us to bring Jewish holidays, food, muscians, IDF soldiers, lunches in Hebrew ( to learn basic hebrew), movies, and our always popular Shabbats to all students to experience.

Additionally, through HillelYAD , I founded and led Challah for Hunger - FIU chapter.  Challah for Hunger is an organization that bakes and sells Challah in order to bring people together in an effort to raise money and awareness for social justice causes. We strive to make a difference in the world by investing in the future entrepreneurs, social activists, and philanthropists. As president & founder, I created events and brunches were students would bake challah. We would later sell the challah's freshly baked. Through Challah for Hunger FIU, I was part in raising nearly $1000, in our first year - all went to charities ( half to a local food bank, and half to American Jewish World Service & their programs working with Darfur Refugees.

As an officer of ShalomFIU, I assisted in creating  social, cultural, and political events dedicated to supporting the Pro-Israel movement on FIU's campus, by working with other cultural groups and planning events together, initiating pro-peace dialogues, bringing speakers, creating Peace Week on campus, and attending Florida Loves Israel conference.
